Job Summary
ABeam Consulting is seeking a Supply Chain Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and digital manufacturing. This role will focus on helping clients in process manufacturing environments streamline and modernize supply chain operations, with a particular emphasis on weight-based inventory management, manufacturing integration, and operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on SAP-enabled supply chain transformation across planning, production, inventory, and logistics functions.
- Lead SAP implementation or optimization projects in digital manufacturing settings, including batch management and integration with shop floor systems.
- Support clients managing variable-weight products by advising on appropriate SAP configuration and data handling strategies.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to design solutions that align with industry-specific compliance and safety requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements that boost efficiency, throughput, and traceability.
- Work with modules such as PP-PI, MM, WM/EWM, QM, and interface with MES platforms.
- Prepare and deliver insights and strategic roadmaps to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP supply chain experience, including S/4HANA or ECC.
- Experience in process manufacturing industries (e.g., food, chemicals, or similar regulated sectors).
- Strong background in digital manufacturing and integration with production systems.
- Working knowledge of catch weight or variable weight management within SAP.
- Experience with compliance, quality, and traceability in manufacturing operations.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience is a plus.
- This is a full-time position, no C2C or contractors
- Must be able to travel.
