The Vistex Sr Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects and programmers. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity, brings deep expertise across project delivery methodologies and demonstrates exceptional leadership across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. You will also play a role in pre-sales engagements, solution scoping, estimating, and shaping delivery approaches. As a trusted delivery leader, you’ll be responsible for full project lifecycle ownership, executive stakeholder engagement, risk and financial management, and mentoring of junior team members. Beyond project delivery, you’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and the broader knowledge base of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large complex projects / programs or manage multiple complex engagements across multiple Vistex customers.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and integrated schedules using appropriate methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid).
  • Own full project lifecycle accountability including scope, schedule, cost and quality.
  • Lead and develop cross-functional project teams to achieve delivery goals and operate at their highest potential.
  • Manage large project budgets (£1M+/1M+ EUR), including forecasting, cost tracking, financial reporting, and change control.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Engage and manage executive level stakeholders including sponsors and steering committees.
  • Assist in pre-sales and business development with scoping and estimating activities and expanding Vistex consulting services.
  • Negotiate and manage commercial contracts in collaboration with regional leadership.
  • Navigate ambiguity and drive clarity, making informed decisions with incomplete information in fast-paced environments.
  • Actively mentor and support junior project managers and lead initiatives that contribute to the continuous improvement of project management within the Vistex PM community.

Qualifications Education Required Bachelors or better. Experience Required Must be fluent in both English and Spanish. Experience in SAP project management, delivering complex projects exceeding £1m/1M EUR in value. Proven track record of leading multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations across diverse industry sectors. Expertise in SAP Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies, with hands on experience using supporting tools and templates. Strong experience managing executive level stakeholders, sponsors and steering committees. Demonstrated ability to lead commercial contract negotiations. Direct involvement in assisting in pre-sales engagements, including scoping, estimating, and proposal development. Expert presentation, communication, influencing, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and making informed decisions with incomplete data, while applying sound judgment to escalate when necessary. Experience managing multi-national project teams and geographically distributed delivery. Proven ability to mentor and develop junior project managers and actively contribute to continuous improvement within a project management community. Holds a recognized professional certification in project or programme management. Preferred Experience working with or within large consulting or systems integration firms is strongly preferred.
