The Senior SAP S/4HANA SD Consultant plays a leading role in the implementation of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes in SAP. The consultant combines strong functional expertise with project leadership, business process knowledge, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. This role requires autonomy in execution, a strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Cloud capabilities, and the ability to mentor others while delivering high-quality solutions that align with client needs and best practices.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of SAP SD experience including multiple end-to-end implementations.
- Proven expertise in S/4HANA SD configuration and process design.
- In-depth understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and related integrations (FI, MM, logistics).
- Ability to communicate technical and functional concepts to both IT and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead workstreams and contribute to scope estimation and project planning.
- Agile delivery experience, with working knowledge of tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Strong documentation, training, and user support capabilities.
- SAP certification preferred.
- Experience in SAP CS, PP would be considered as an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- Business proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage time, priorities, and deliverables independently and in teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and contribute to the final solution design based on SAP S/4HANA Cloud standards.
- Translate business requirements into functional designs for Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, and Output Control.
- Customize and configure SAP SD components and ensure their seamless integration with FI, MM, and logistics modules.
- Take ownership of functional scope definition, backlog creation, and prioritization across project phases.
- Identify gaps, propose workarounds, and document high-level architecture, use cases, and cutover plans.
- Support test planning and execution, including UAT and system integration testing.
- Mentor junior and mid-level consultants, coordinate deliverables, and support team development.
- Collaborate with development teams and technical leads to ensure solution feasibility and completeness.
- Actively contribute to presales, RFI/RFP processes with estimates, solution demos, and effort evaluations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage stakeholder communication effectively.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, both within projects and across internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
