Responsibilities:
- EWM Configuration & Implementation:
- Lead or assist in the implementation of SAP EWM across multiple warehouses, including configuration of inbound, outbound, and inventory management processes.
- Design, configure, and optimize SAP EWM to meet operational requirements in accordance with business processes and best practices.
- Provide end-to-end support for EWM functionality, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to identify areas for process improvement and automation within the SAP EWM system.
- Conduct system analysis to identify gaps and suggest solutions for enhancing warehouse operations, reducing costs, and improving productivity.
- Integration with SAP Modules:
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules such as SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP TM (Transportation Management).
- Assist in integration efforts between SAP EWM and third-party systems (e.g., transportation management systems, external warehouse providers).
- Testing & Support:
- Prepare test plans, perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP EWM enhancements and upgrades.
- Provide post-implementation support for SAP EWM, troubleshooting issues, and guiding end-users through complex scenarios.
- Training & Documentation:
- Develop user manuals, training materials, and documentation for warehouse operations and SAP EWM functionality.
- Conduct training sessions for warehouse staff and business users to ensure proficiency in SAP EWM operations.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, including logistics, inventory control, and procurement teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM configurations.
- Partner with IT to manage system performance, implement updates, and ensure data integrity across warehouse processes.
