We are seeking a talented SAP Hybris Engineer II to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP Hybris Commerce platform and backend development, with a focus on delivering scalable, high-performing, and innovative eCommerce solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and maintaining SAP Hybris-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:

• Technical Implementation:
• Design, develop, and enhance solutions on the SAP Hybris Commerce platform, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Build and optimize eCommerce functionalities, including catalog management, order management, and customer-specific solutions
• Backend Development Expertise:
• Develop and maintain backend services using modern frameworks and technologies, ensuring seamless integrations with SAP Hybris systems.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for data exchange between systems.
• Collaboration & Problem Solving:
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Hybris-related issues and bugs, optimizing performance and scalability.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on SAP Hybris platform releases and industry best practices to recommend enhancements and new tools.
• Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, to ensure efficient deployment of SAP Hybris solutions.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for SAP Hybris implementations.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, security protocols, and coding guidelines.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• Typically, 4-5 years of experience in SAP Hybris Commerce platform development and backend development.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable eCommerce solutions in SAP Hybris.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs, with hands-on experience in integration tools.
• Experience with SAP Hybris modules like Product Content Management (PCM), Order Management System (OMS), and Customer Service Management (CSM).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and build tools like Gradle or Maven.
• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, scalability, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Expertise in identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Backend Development: Strong knowledge of SAP Hybris backend architecture and Java-based frameworks.
• Integration & API Design: Proficiency in building seamless integrations and RESTful APIs.
• Technical Documentation: Ability to create and maintain clear and concise documentation.
• Time Management: Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
• Learning Agility: Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.

Tools Knowledge:

• SAP Hybris Modules: PCM, OMS, CSM.
• Java Frameworks: Spring Boot, JPA, JDBC.
• Cloud Computing: AWS, Azure.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (preferred).
• Build Tools: Maven, Gradle.
• Version Control: Git.
• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux.
