Job requirements

• We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional FI (GL Conversion) Consultant with 9-12 years of experience.
• The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in New GL Activation & Migration, Ledger Setup, Document Splitting, Parallel Accounting, and Segment & Profit Center Realignment.
• This role requires expertise in SAP Finance (FI) configurations, along with a strategic mindset for seamless GL conversion and migration projects.




Key Responsibilities:

• Lead New GL Activation & Migration Strategy, ensuring a smooth transition from classic GL to New GL. Configure and optimize Ledger Setup for both Leading and Non-Leading Ledgers to support business requirements.
• Design and implement Document Splitting Configuration & Validation to enhance financial reporting and ensure compliance.
• Drive Parallel Accounting & Ledger Migration, aligning with IFRS and GAAP standards.
• Support Segment & Profit Center Realignment, ensuring financial structures align with business operations and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and provide functional solutions.
• Provide hands-on configuration, testing, and deployment of FI-GL solutions.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful data migration and system integration.
• Support end-user training and documentation for SAP FI processes.




Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 9-12 years of SAP FI (GL) functional experience, specializing in General Ledger (GL) Conversion.
• Strong expertise in New GL Activation, Migration Strategy, and Ledger Setup (Leading & Non-Leading).
• Hands-on experience in Document Splitting Configuration & Validation.
• In-depth knowledge of Parallel Accounting & Ledger Migration.
• Experience with Segment & Profit Center Realignment.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and migration from ECC to S/4HANA.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• SAP Certification in Finance (FI) is a plus.
• Experience working in large-scale SAP transformation and migration projects.




Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP Central Finance (CFin).
• Knowledge of SAP CO (Controlling) module.
• Prior experience in SAP Activate methodology for implementation and migration.
