Job DescriptionOverview
As a SAP FICO Lead/Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP FICO modules within the S/4 HANA environment, ensuring seamless financial operations. This role requires deep expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling, along with integration with other SAP modules like MM and SD. You will collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, develop functional specifications, conduct testing, provide user training, and troubleshoot system issues. With 10-12 years of experience, multiple full-cycle implementations, and SAP FICO certification, the ideal candidate should also have knowledge of BTP extensions, statutory reporting, and financial compliance. Strong problem-solving skills, effective teamwork, and familiarity with S/4 HANA cloud environments are essential for success in this role.
What will you do?
Implementation & Configuration:
- Implement and configure SAP FICO modules within the S/4 HANA environment (GL, AP, AR, AA, Controlling).
- Ensure system compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
- Manage system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
Business Collaboration & Requirement Gathering:
- Work with business teams to gather requirements and develop functional specifications.
- Conduct requirement and solution workshops.
- Perform gap analysis and contribute to strategic roadmap/blueprint development.
Testing, Training & Support:
- Conduct system testing and troubleshoot issues in SAP FICO modules.
- Provide user training and ongoing support to optimize SAP FICO functionality.
Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, etc.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to support project efforts.
Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:
- Analyze system performance and provide solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Leverage knowledge of S/4 HANA functionalities and BTP extensions for system improvements.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- SAP FICO & SAP S/4 HANA Certification is preferred
- 10-12 years of experience in SAP FICO consulting and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with multiple full-cycle SAP FICO rollouts, including configuration and deployment.
- Strong understanding of SAP Finance processes, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.
- Expertise in S/4 HANA (Private/Public Cloud) and familiarity with its latest features and functionalities.
- Knowledge of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.).
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps and BTP extensions is a plus.
- Ability to analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions.
- Experience in conducting gap analysis and developing strategic roadmaps/blueprints.
- Strong ability to work within cross-functional teams and coordinate with IT and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead requirement-gathering workshops and provide user training.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
