SAP FICO Business Sr. Analyst
Location: San Jose, Costa Rica
Join Lonza as an SAP FICO Business Analyst, where you'll help shape and continuously improve our global finance systems. In this role, you'll partner with business and technical teams to design, enhance, and support SAP FI/CO capabilities that power critical financial processes across the organization.

What you will do:
Take ownership of SAP FI and CO modules, driving continuous improvement of business processes running on SAP.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure SAP solutions are effectively designed to meet evolving business needs.
Support key business processes such as financial and management reporting, month-end closing, revenue recognition, taxation, asset acquisition, and capital expenditures.
Contribute to key projects by delivering impactful, business‑aligned solutions.
Develop and maintain test script content, execute functional testing, and support user acceptance testing.
Provide 3rd-level support for complex incidents and contribute to resolving critical or urgent issues.
Work closely with technical teams to deliver and support interfaces with third‑party solutions.
Support internal and external audit processes by responding to technical SAP-related queries.
What we are looking for:
Extensive experience in SAP FICO consulting or support; life sciences industry preferred.
Deep expertise in SAP FI and CO, including General Ledger, AR/AP, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, Material Ledger, and Actual Costing.
Experience with SAP PS module and understanding of cross‑module integration (asset).
Strong system configuration and customization background within SAP.
Solid knowledge of IT project methodologies and hands-on project delivery experience.
Ability to drive delivery from requirements gathering through deployment in the production environment.
SAP Certified Application Professional (preferred).
