PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation - Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, customizing, and maintaining SAP applications to meet business requirements. Develop functional solutions to solve business needs and align IT strategy functions and perform technical design and future enhancements on Customer-specific ABAP development. Analyze business processes, understand requirements, and recommend technical solutions. Design and implement enhancements, customizations, and interfaces within the SAP environment. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality of developed solutions. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SAP applications. Troubleshoot existing information systems to identify errors and deficiencies and develop solutions, collaborate with functional end-users to troubleshoot issues in production, and provide production support to nightly batch processing. Evaluate new SAP application development tools and provide technical guidance to junior team members. Stay up-to-date on new SAP technologies and best practices. Utilize SAP technologies, including ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, ABAP WebDynpro, Customer/Server proxies, BAPI, BADI's, RFC, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, IDOCs, BDC, and ALV programming, as well as SAP PI/PO and SAP Fiori.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer or Electronic, Engineering, or a related technical field. Requires 10 years of experience in an SAP/Software Developer or Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or related IT position involved in development using SAP. Experience must include: Designing and developing SAP Applications using ABAP, PI/PO, FIORI, and UI5; Analyzing, designing, testing, and installing SAP ABAP/4; Working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecyle, including Scoping, Requirement Gathering, Design, Development, QA Testing, UAT, Migration to different environments, Deployment, and Post deployment support; Reviewing and updating maintenance process documentations including change documentation, user manual, and unit test documentation; and Utilizing SAP ABAP, WebDynpro, SAP PI/PO and SAP Fiori. Telecommuting permitted within commuting distance from worksite.
