What You Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP data migration, governance, and management. Must have at least 2-3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations with hands-on experience in data migration.
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud data migration strategies, tools, and methodologies.
- Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC (Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit), LTMOM (Migration Object Modeler), and SAP Data Services. Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for migrating master data and transactional data into SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Experience with SAP Public Cloud-specific data load templates, best practices, and constraints. Expertise in migrating Master Data (Business Partners, Materials, GL Accounts, Cost Centers, etc.) and Transactional Data (Open AR/AP, Open PO, Inventory, etc.).
- Ability to configure, map, and validate data migration objects to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) integrations for data migration. Strong understanding of SAP FICO, SD, MM, and other functional areas to support cross-functional data migration activities. Implementation & Deployment Experience leading data migration planning, strategy development, execution, and validation.
- Ability to identify, cleanse, and transform legacy data to ensure compliance with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud requirements.
- Hands-on experience conducting data quality assessments and reconciliation to ensure accuracy post-migration. Proficiency in managing data loads in multiple iterations, resolving errors, and ensuring successful go-live cutover.
- Ability to troubleshoot migration failures, optimize data conversion scripts, and ensure smooth hypercare support post-migration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with business users, technical teams, and executives. Strong ability to conduct data migration workshops, provide training on data templates, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Capable of creating clear documentation, including data mapping specifications, data load reports, and issue logs.
- Strong client-facing and consulting skills, with the ability to advise stakeholders on data migration best practices and risks.
- Other Requirements: Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies. Experience in coordinating with functional and technical teams to align data migration with overall project milestones.
- SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Certification (preferred but not required).
- Fully Remote work from anywhere!
- Up to 4-5 hours per day.
- Duration: The project will last 6-9 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
