Purpose of the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ERP Data Migration Expert. In this critical role, you will be expected to understand As-Is Data Conversion & Data Quality process and bring outside in or modernized Data Quality approach/ methodology around data Conversion project lifecycle. This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of SAP modules, data migration and Data Quality strategies & methodologies.
Qualifications
- 14+ years of experience data migration/ conversion process & execution from Non-SAP to S/4 HANA or ECC.
- Experience in SAP ERP migration solution design, technical/ function design, source to target mapping, etc.
- Profound understanding of the SAP ECC S/4 HANA data model for key master data like Material, Customer, Vendor, Finance, etc.
- Proven experience in data quality strategy and implementation into data migration/ conversion projects for key master and their dependent data objects.
- Act as a bridge between business & technical team and support in key ERP functional areas for master and transaction data and their relationship and dependencies, etc.
- Skilled in ETL process – Data extraction, design & build, data validation, mock loads into SAP MDG/ ECC.
- Strong consultant in defining DQ criteria, DQ profiling/ assessment, data cleansing & standardization, DQ validation, and DQ reporting, etc.
- Document the data migration and Data Quality process, mapping/ Transformation, and technical details for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Provide insights, lessons learned, and suggest best practices for SAP migration project and Data Quality.
- Strong background in data management and data governance best practices.
Technical skill set for SAP Data Migration Lead/SME

- SAP ERP Data Migration/ Conversion Process & Execution – Mandatory
- SAP S/4 HANA and ECC Functional Knowledge – Mandatory
- Strong knowledge in SAP Master data – Material, Customer, Vendor, Finance - Mandatory
- ETL Process - Design, Build, and Test – Mandatory
- SAP Data Services/ BODS – Preferred
- Other ETL Tool experience (Informatica, Syniti) – Preferred
