Role overviewWe are looking for a an experienced SAP Consultant to join a consulting engagement supporting a client in the Oil industry.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP modules specific to Oil processes (e.g. IS-Oil, PRA - Production Revenue Accounting, Retail Fuel, Land & Division Order).
- Analyzing client business requirements within upstream/downstream Oil operations and translating them into SAP solutions.
- Participating in testing, go-live, and post-implementation support activities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and client representatives to ensure successful project delivery.
- Preparing functional documentation and supporting knowledge transfer.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with SAP specifically within the Oil sector.
- Strong knowledge of at least one core SAP module (FI/CO, SD, MM) combined with Oil industry-specific solutions (IS-Oil, PRA, Retail Fuel).
- SAP S/4HANA experience preferred.
- Good understanding of end-to-end implementation lifecycle (AS-IS/TO-BE, configuration, testing, deployment).
- Strong English communication skills.
Skills Required
- Minimum 2 years hands-on SAP experience in the Oil & Gas / Energy sector
- Prior experience as an SAP Consultant
- Strong knowledge of at least one core SAP module (FI/CO, SD, MM, or similar)
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Understanding of end-to-end implementation lifecycle (AS-IS/TO-BE, configuration, testing, deployment)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
