SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors), SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector, monitoring and observability platforms, CI/CD tooling, enterprise integration ecosystem.

The resource will be responsible for operating and administering SAP Integration Suite services, monitoring platform health, availability, and performance, and managing incidents, problems, and operational support activities. The role includes performing platform configuration and lifecycle management, coordinating platform maintenance, upgrades, and patching, ensuring monitoring, observability, and operational readiness, and managing tenant configuration, certificates, connectivity, and security. Additionally, the individual will support capacity planning and platform optimization, collaborate with SAP Basis, Infrastructure, Integration teams, and vendors, and drive continuous operational improvements following SRE practices.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with a minimum of 4+ years in SAP BTP services, along with experience working with SAPUI5/Fiori applications. Hands-on experience with CAPM (Node.js) development and support is required, while experience with SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) is considered a nice-to-have skill. The candidate should also possess knowledge of SAP Document Management Service (DMS) and experience with SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS).

Required Skills and Experience

·       8+ years in SAP Integration, SAP BTP, or Middleware Operations

·       Strong operational experience with SAP Integration Suite

·       Experience with SAP BTP administration

·       Experience with incident, problem, and change management

Strong operational and technical skills with the ability to manage SAP BTP platforms in production, ensure high service availability, and continuously improve platform reliability through operational excellence.

Application Development & Troubleshooting

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for UI and backend services.
• Ability to analyze logs, traces, and runtime errors.
• Understanding of application architecture (frontend, backend, services).
• Experience in fixing bugs and supporting live applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
• Experience managing deployments across multiple environments.

Security & Access Management, Platform & Operations, Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts.
• Experience with IAS integration and SSO configurations.
• Experience managing role collections and user roles in SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and token-based authentication.
• Experience handling production support and escalations.
• Understanding of monitoring tools and alert handling.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets across customers simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex issues.
• Proactive mindset with ownership of issues and escalations.
• Strong communication skills to interact with global teams and customers.
• Ability to provide clear and structured RCA documentation.
• Good understanding of support processes and incident management.
• Ability to work in a structured and disciplined manner.
