SAP BTP / CPI Architect

Level: Senior / Lead · Experience: 8–12 years

Key Skills (Must-Have)

8+ yrs SAP integration; 3+ yrs hands-on BTP / CPI / Integration Suite

Deep expertise in iFlow design, SFTP/SOAP/REST adapters, exception handling

SAP API Management, Event Mesh, and BTP security (OAuth2, mTLS)

Architecture patterns: point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, EDA, async messaging

SAP S/4HANA APIs, BAPIs, IDocs, OData V2/V4

Payment file formats: CSV, ISO 20022 / pain.001, MT101

Key Responsibilities

Define integration architecture for the native Fiori banking tile (payments, supplier finance)

Build and govern iFlows for SFTP-based payment file transfer and PSR ingestion

Establish BTP tenant strategy, landscape sizing, and connectivity standards

Lead technical design reviews and enforce integration best practices

Collaborate with ABAP and Fiori teams on end-to-end data flows

Own non-functional requirements: security, retry, monitoring, alerting

Kindly note that we are working in a Hybrid Mode with base location in Bengaluru, Karnataka, this is not a remote role.

Skills Required

8+ years of SAP integration experience
3+ years of hands-on SAP BTP, CPI, or Integration Suite experience
Deep expertise in iFlow design
Experience with SFTP, SOAP, and REST adapters
Experience with exception handling
Expertise in SAP API Management and Event Mesh
Expertise in BTP security, including OAuth2 and mTLS
Knowledge of point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous messaging patterns
Experience with SAP S/4HANA APIs, BAPIs, IDocs, and OData V2/V4
Knowledge of CSV, ISO 20022/pain.001, and MT101 payment file formats
Ability to work independently on complex processes and modules
Strong planning and organizing skills across multiple workstreams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong influencing, persuasion, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
Clear decision-making ability for complex situations
