Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive SAP Basis/SSO Consultant to join our technical SAP team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering SAP systems and implementing secure Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions across the enterprise landscape. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, availability, and security of SAP environments, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Fiori, and more.
This position requires deep knowledge of SAP Basis administration, authentication mechanisms, and identity federation technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to drive technical implementations, troubleshoot issues independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Basis Administration:
- Manage the installation, configuration, patching, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, GRC, Fiori, etc.).
- Perform daily monitoring and performance tuning of SAP landscapes, including application and database layers.
- Execute client copies, system refreshes, transports, and kernel upgrades.
- Maintain system availability, ensure high performance, and troubleshoot SAP technical issues.
- Ensure robust backup/restore strategies, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
SAP SSO & Security:
- Design and implement SAP Single Sign-On solutions using SAML 2.0, X.509 certificates, Kerberos, and Secure Login Client (SLC).
- Integrate SAP systems with enterprise identity providers (IdPs) such as Microsoft ADFS, Azure AD, or Okta.
- Configure and manage authentication protocols including SPNEGO, LDAP, and OAuth in SAP environments.
- Collaborate with security and network teams to ensure secure and compliant SSO setups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve authentication and authorization issues across SAP systems.
System Integration & Support:
- Participate in SAP landscape design, technical planning, and architecture reviews.
- Document system architecture, configuration, and operational procedures.
- Provide support during SAP go-lives, upgrades, and system migrations.
- Assist in audit and compliance activities related to access control and identity management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration with strong focus on SSO integration.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture, system landscapes, and transport management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP SSO 3.0/2.0 configuration, certificate management, and trust relationships.
- Familiarity with SAP Web Dispatcher, Fiori Launchpad, and SAML-based web applications.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and security standards (SSL/TLS, DNS, certificates).
- Experience working in cloud-based SAP environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- SAP certifications in Basis or SSO are desirable.

We offer salary from 2300 eur/brutto/month. Salary can be higher depending on experience and skillset.
