Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS Consultant to join our team. This role will focus on the administration, management, and optimization of our SAP ECC 6 environment, with a strong emphasis on networks, interfaces, and transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP BASIS, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in managing complex SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP ECC 6 Administration: Manage and maintain the SAP ECC 6 environment, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security.
- Network and Interface Management: Oversee the configuration and management of networks and interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow and integration with other systems.
- System Upgrades and Patches: Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to keep the SAP environment up-to-date and secure.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures to optimize system efficiency and user experience.
- Transformation Projects: Lead and support transformation initiatives to modernize and enhance the SAP landscape, aligning with business goals and objectives.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.
- Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect the SAP environment from unauthorized access and threats.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and project deliverables.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and system integration.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert support and troubleshooting for SAP BASIS-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP BASIS are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with a strong focus on SAP ECC 6.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of SAP BASIS, networks, and interfaces, with hands-on experience in SAP ECC 6.
- Transformation Experience: Proven experience in leading transformation projects within SAP environments.
- Security Management: Experience in implementing and managing security measures for SAP systems.
- Disaster Recovery: Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
