We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with a minimum of 4 years of work experience, including at least 2 years in S/4 HANA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the installation and maintenance of various SAP products, system upgrades, OS/DB migration, and performance optimization. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and performance of our SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Installation & Maintenance: Perform installation, maintenance, and upgrades of various SAP products, ensuring system stability and reliability.
- S/4 HANA Expertise: Leverage your 2+ years of experience in S/4 HANA to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the S/4 HANA environment.
- Performance Optimization: Implement management techniques, table partitioning, compression, and SQL performance optimization to ensure optimal SAP system performance.
- OS/DB Migration: Conduct OS/DB migration activities, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
- System Upgrades: Participate in the planning and execution of SAP system upgrades, applying support packs and performing kernel upgrades as needed.
- System Health & Integrity: Perform regular SAP refresh activities and health checks, maintaining the integrity and performance of all SAP systems.
- User & Background Job Management: Distribute SAP user workload, monitor, and manage the SAP background job workload to ensure efficient system operation.
- Client Administration: Perform SAP client administration tasks, including creation, copying, and deletion as required.
- Backup & Recovery: Utilize backup and recovery tools to safeguard SAP environments, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation for all SAP instances, ensuring clear and accurate records.
Requirements
- S/4 HANA Experience: Experience or understanding of S/4 HANA is mandatory, as we are implementing the S/4 HANA version of SAP.
- Industry Background: Candidates from manufacturing or automobile industries are preferred but not mandatory.
- SAP Certification: SAP Certification is a plus but not required.
