SAP B1 Technical

Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP Business One (SAP B1) Technical Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering SAP B1 technical solutions, including implementation, customization, integration, upgrades, and ongoing support. The consultant will work closely with functional teams and clients to design and develop scalable solutions that meet business requirements. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and execute SAP Business One technical implementation projects, including installation, configuration, and system setup. 
  

• Design, develop, and deploy SAP B1 customizations, enhancements, add-ons, and integrations based on business requirements. 
  

• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using SQL, SAP Crystal Reports, and SAP B1 reporting tools. 
  

• Create and maintain integrations between SAP B1 and third-party applications using DI-API, Service Layer, B1if, and other integration technologies. 
  

• Collaborate with functional consultants to convert business requirements into technical specifications and solutions. 
  

• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization. 
  

• Support SAP B1 upgrades, patches, migrations, and version enhancements. 
  

• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and end users during implementation and post-go-live phases. 
  

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge repositories. 
  

• Ensure adherence to SAP Business One best practices and project delivery standards. 
  

Primary Technical Skills 

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Business One technical consulting and development. 
  

• Strong knowledge of SAP Business One architecture, technical components, and system landscape. 
  

• Extensive experience with SAP B1 SDK – UI API and DI API. 
  

• Strong experience in C# and/or VB.NET for SAP B1 add-on and customization development. 
  

• Strong SQL programming and database knowledge with MS SQL Server and SAP HANA. 
  

• Hands-on experience with SAP B1 Integration Framework (B1if). 
  

• Strong experience with SAP B1 Service Layer and API-based integrations. 
  

• Experience with SAP B1 Studio and Visual Studio development environments. 
  

• Hands-on experience with User Defined Fields (UDF), User Defined Objects (UDO), and User Defined Tables (UDT). 
  

• Experience in SAP B1 add-on development, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting. 
  

• Strong experience in developing SAP Crystal Reports, SQL Queries, Dashboards, Print Layouts, and Formatted Searches. 
  

• Experience in SAP B1 form customization, validations, workflows, approvals, and business process customization. 
  

• Hands-on experience in SAP B1 upgrades, patches, migrations, version enhancements, and technical maintenance. 
  

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across SAP B1 application, database, integration, and add-on components. 
  

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP B1 and database environments. 
  

Secondary Technical Skills 

• Experience with third-party application integrations with SAP Business One. 
  

• Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, and XML. 
  

• Experience with middleware and integration technologies. 
  

• Knowledge of API authentication and integration troubleshooting. 
  

• Exposure to cloud-based SAP B1 environments and hosted SAP B1 infrastructure. 
  

• Basic knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, and application deployment environments. 
  

• Basic understanding of networking concepts relevant to SAP B1 integrations. 
  

• Experience with source code management and version control tools such as Git. 
  

• Experience in system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, deployment, and post-go-live support. 
  

• Knowledge of SAP B1 add-ons such as Boyum IT, Produmex, or similar third-party solutions will be an advantage. 
  

• Exposure to WMS, manufacturing, production, e-commerce, CRM, banking, payment gateway, or other third-party integrations will be an advantage.
