AI Engineer – SAP Managed Services Role Overview We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of AIpowered solutions within SAP Managed Services. This role focuses on building enterprise-grade AI agents that integrate deeply with SAP systems to enhance operational efficiency, automate diagnostics, and improve service delivery outcomes. The ideal candidate will combine strong AI engineering skills with hands-on SAP technical expertise and a solid understanding of managed services operations. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop AI Agents leveraging modern frameworks such as LangGraph and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to support SAP use cases. • Build and enhance the AI Agent experience layer using tools such as CopilotKit, Vercel AI SDK, or equivalent frameworks. • Enable and support cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) for AI Agent deployment, scalability, and secure operations. • Develop AI coding assets and MCP-based integrations to support the AI SDLC for SAP, including tooling and automation frameworks. • Design and implement SAP integrations using OData services, Function Modules, and CDS views. • Collaborate with SAP Basis teams to support system connectivity, transports, performance, and access management. • Work with SAP data structures to enable accurate context retrieval, analysis, and automation. • Integrate AI solutions with SAP incident and ticketing processes (e.g., ServiceNow) to support diagnostics, triage, and resolution workflows. • Partner closely with Technical Product Managers, SAP functional teams, and Managed Services stakeholders to deliver production-ready AI solutions. Required Skills and Experience • Strong experience in AI/LLM development, including agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) and MCP-based architectures. • Hands-on experience building AI agent front-end or experience layers (CopilotKit, Vercel AI SDK, or similar). • Experience enabling and operating AI workloads on AWS or Azure. Proficiency in SAP technical development: • OData services • Function Modules • CDS views • SAP data models and structures • Eclipse ABAP Development Tools ("ADT") and RESTful ABAP Programming Model ("RAP") and publishing APIs using OData V4 • Working knowledge of SAP Basis concepts and managed services environments. • Familiarity with SAP incident management processes, including integration with tools such as ServiceNow. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across AI, cloud, and SAP domains. Preferred Qualifications • Experience building AI solutions specifically for SAP Managed Services or enterprise operations. • Familiarity with AI-driven diagnostics, monitoring, or forensic use cases within SAP. • Exposure to secure AI deployment patterns and enterprise governance models. • Prior experience working in Agile or DevOps delivery environments. What Success Looks Like • AI agents that are production-ready, secure, and deeply integrated with SAP systems. • Reduced incident resolution times and improved service reliability. • Scalable AI solutions that can be reused across multiple SAP managed services engagements
