Job Description
Looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP
integrations and procurement process development. The ideal candidate should have
hands-on experience in building and supporting SAP integration methodologies such as
HTTPS-based integrations, OData services, APIs, and BAPI-based interfaces.
Mandatory Skills
SAP ABAP Technical Expertise
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
• Expertise in:
o Reports
o Interfaces
o Enhancements
o Object-oriented ABAP
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging
SAP Integration Development
• Strong experience in building integrations using:
o HTTPS-based integrations
o OData services
o REST/SOAP APIs
o BAPIs
o IDocs
• Experience in creating and consuming APIs from SAP systems
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms and secure integrations
Procurement Domain Expertise (Mandatory)
Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM procurement processes including:
• Purchase Requisition (PR)
• Purchase Order (PO)
• Inbound/Outbound Delivery flows
Enhancements & BAPI Experience
• Extensive experience in:
o User exits
o BADIs
o Enhancement framework
o Custom enhancements for procurement processes
• Strong experience working with standard SAP BAPIs related to procurement and
purchasing
Responsibilities
• Design and develop SAP ABAP solutions for procurement and supply chain
processes
• Build scalable SAP integrations using modern integration methodologies
• Develop and enhance custom programs related to PR, PO, and Delivery
processing
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand client requirements and
provide technical solutions
• Perform technical analysis, development, testing, and support
• Collaborate with functional and integration teams for end-to-end solution
delivery
Good to Have Skills
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of CDS Views and AMDP
• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5
• Experience with SAP PI/PO, CPI, or middleware integrations
• Experience in supply chain or planning integrations
• Exposure to Azure or cloud-based integration platforms
Skills Required
- 6-10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development
- Expertise in reports, interfaces, and object-oriented ABAP
- Strong experience in SAP integration development using various methodologies
- Knowledge of procurement processes such as purchase requisitions and orders
