Key Responsibilities- Develop, modify, enhance, and support ABAP reports and custom programs based on business requirements.
- Strong understanding of ABAP programming concepts, debugging, error handling, and performance considerations.
- Work extensively with SAP Data Dictionary (DDIC) objects, including tables, structures, data elements, domains, views, search helps, and table types.
- Develop reports using internal tables, work areas, field symbols, loops, modularization, and database operations.
- Hands-on experience with Function Modules, subroutines, methods, and other modularization techniques.
- Develop and enhance ALV reports using appropriate ALV frameworks based on project requirements.
- Work on SAP forms including Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms for business documents and outputs.
- Analyze existing custom programs and perform required modifications, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Perform ABAP debugging to identify root causes and resolve functional/technical issues.
- Follow coding standards, naming conventions, documentation standards, and development best practices.
- Work with functional consultants to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Prepare technical specifications and documentation for developments and enhancements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams during development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
