Position Summary
Performs lead role in defining the requirements and developing technology solutions to meet AutoZone business needs; Directs and coordinates complex systems integration, and infrastructure; serves as techno-functional expert for multi-platform systems and multiple technologies, concentrating on the SAP ecosystem (S/4 HANA, BTP, Ariba, CAR, ABAP) and supporting applications.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP S/4HANA custom solutions using ABAP and RAP.
- Build and maintain SAP BTP In-App Extensibility solutions in alignment with Clean Core architecture principles.
- Develop and enhance SAP applications using CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and RESTful APIs.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solution designs and effort estimations.
- Deliver end-to-end RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
- Design and develop inbound and outbound integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Implement and support enhancement techniques including User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and Implicit/Explicit Enhancements.
- Develop and expose APIs using SAP Gateway, OData, RAP, and Integration technologies.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while ensuring system stability and performance.
- Prepare technical specifications, design documents, unit test cases, and deployment documentation.
- Support Agile delivery methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- SAP ABAP on S/4HANA
- RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model)
- SAP BTP In-App Extensibility
- CDS Views
- AMDP
- OData Services
- API Development
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and extensibility concepts.
- Strong experience across the complete RICEFW development lifecycle.
