Santander US Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is looking for the best talent to support our growth ambition and become future leaders through our 2026 Markets (Sales & Trading) Summer Analyst Program.

What you will gain

Our Markets (Sales & Trading) Summer Analyst Program, beginning in June 2026, provides comprehensive training and an introduction to Santander CIB and its capabilities. You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your development during the Internship.

This 2026 Markets (Sales & Trading) Summer Analyst Program is for undergraduate students in a four-year program who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and May/June 2027.

Based in New York (NY), you will become part of an international business working with teams across different geographies.

The base hourly pay range for this position is $52.88/hr. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location. The internship program does not offer any relocation assistance.

Santander Global Markets provides risk management solutions, investment products, and execution services to a wide range of clients, including Corporates, Institutions, and Individuals. We work across teams to bring comprehensive solutions to clients’ challenges, allowing them to achieve their objectives and remain competitive across global markets.

This program will provide the skills and hands – on experience about global markets strategies and asset classes while working alongside our experienced markets professionals. You’ll learn about the solutions and insights we offer clients in any market conditions through data analysis, and you will help provide and analyze information needed to create the right solutions for our clients.

What we are looking for

- An undergraduate student in a four-year program with an expected graduation date between either December 2026 or May/June 2027.

- Cumulative GPA is 3.5 or above.

- Highly motivated and results oriented with a desire to exceed expectations.

- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage in their leadership style.

- Crisp communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, interacting professionally, transparently, and effectively with people at all levels.

- Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required, foreign language skills are a plus.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

- Strong critical thinking with the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges.

- Ability to multi-task as required.

- Ability to work independently on special projects.

- Ability to effectively contribute in a team environment.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
