- Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead architecture for SAP RAR & FI-CA integration with Salesforce (SFDC) and SAP BRIM.
- Design revenue recognition models (subscription, milestone, usage-based).
- Define integration points across SAP RAR, FI-CA, BRIM (SOM, CC, CI), and FI-GL.
- Ensure FI-CA supports AR, invoicing, payment processing, dunning, and settlements.
- Architect event-based revenue recognition and automated contract modifications in SAP RAR.
- Lead end-to-end OTC process design integrating SFDC, SAP BRIM, and RAR.
- Develop business process flows, functional/technical specifications.
- Optimize BRIM modules (SOM, CC, CI, FI-CA) to align with business needs.
- Implement revenue recognition processes in line with IFRS 15 / ASC 606.
- Provide expertise in hybrid billing models and standardized rev rec frameworks.
- Design audit trails, reconciliation, and revenue event triggers.
- Enhance SAP RAR for real-time revenue processing and contract updates.
- Create reporting tools for revenue forecasting and profitability.
- Implement Salesforce integration for sales motions: upsell, renewal, upgrade, etc.
- Implementation & Integration
- Manage full-cycle implementation of SAP BRIM and RAR.
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules (FI-CA, FICO, RAR).
- Optimize OTC processes: order management, contracts, invoicing, settlement.
- Technical Leadership & Best Practices
- Provide technical leadership for SAP BRIM, RAR, and OTC.
- Establish best practices for SAP S/4HANA transformations.
- Ensure scalable, high-performance, and compliant solutions.
- Define and deliver custom enhancements and automation.
- Conduct system checks, performance tuning, and process optimization.
- Stakeholder & Team Management
- Collaborate with business to gather and define OTC requirements.
- Lead workshops, UATs, and training sessions.
- Deliver post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in SAP Finance; 5+ years in SAP RAR & FI-CA.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) and FI-CA (Contract Accounting).
- Strong knowledge of SAP BRIM (SOM, CC, CI), SD, and FI-GL integration.
- Experience with POB allocation, event-based revenue, and subledger accounting.
- Proven IFRS 15 / ASC 606 implementation experience in SAP RAR.
- SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration experience.
- Ability to define and implement custom solutions and automation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certification in BRIM, RAR, or S/4HANA Finance.
- Experience with SAP BTP and cloud-based integrations.
- Familiarity with AI/ML for billing or predictive revenue analytics.
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and SAP automation tools.
