- Define end-to-end Salesforce architectures covering OmniStudio, Public Sector Solutions, and core clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, Platform).
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technical designs, balancing configuration and custom development.
- Serve as the technical authority during solution design workshops, providing recommendations on OmniStudio patterns, API strategy, data models, and integration approaches.
- Guide development teams on OmniStudio components (OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, Decision Tables) and Apex, ensuring alignment to best practices.
- Oversee governance and standards, including performance optimisation, data strategy, security, and DevOps (GitLab pipelines, DX, metadata deployment).
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and ensure technical deliverables meet quality and compliance standards for public sector requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and successful delivery.
- Act as a mentor to developers and consultants, building technical capability within the team.
Profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3+ years in an architect role.
- Proven expertise in Salesforce OmniStudio (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
- Hands-on experience with Public Sector Solutions (PSS).
- Prior experience working with government or public sector organisations is highly preferred, with an understanding of regulatory, compliance, and public service delivery contexts.
- Salesforce Application/Technical Architect certifications strongly preferred; OmniStudio Developer/Consultant certifications required.
- Strong integration knowledge (APIs, middleware, legacy system interoperability).
- Deep understanding of Salesforce DevOps practices (GitLab, Salesforce DX, metadata management, automated CI/CD pipelines).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Meticulous in documentation – able to produce clear, accurate, and reusable technical designs, architecture diagrams, and standards guides.
