JOB SUMMARY
Wissen Technology is hiring a Salesforce DevOps Engineer to manage Salesforce release processes, deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and platform governance. The role focuses on product development support, release management, code quality, security compliance, and maintaining reliable Salesforce delivery across enterprise environments.
EXPERIENCE, LOCATION, MODE OF WORK
Experience: 5-8 years
Location: Bengaluru
Mode of Work: Hybrid (Twice a week from office, Immediate Joiners Preferred)
Mandatory Skills (Must Have)
• Salesforce DevOps or Release Management (5+ years hands-on experience)
• Salesforce platform expertise including metadata structure and deployment strategies
• GitHub and Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline implementation and release automation
• Git version control, branching strategies, pull request workflows, and repository management
• SFDX CLI, Salesforce APIs, deployment automation scripts, and release tooling
• PMD and Checkmarx scan automation for code quality and application security
• SSO certificate renewal processes and Salesforce environment administration
• Agile/Scrum delivery, sprint planning, and release governance
Optional Skills (Good to Have)
• Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud knowledge
• Platform Events and Salesforce integration patterns
• Copado, Gearset, or other Salesforce DevOps tools
• Infrastructure automation and scripting using PowerShell or Python
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator or Platform Developer
Professional Attributes & Qualifications
• Education: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Leadership: Experience coordinating releases across multiple development teams
• Ownership: Ability to manage end-to-end deployment and release lifecycle independently
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and risk-management capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
• Design and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps
• Manage code promotion, deployments, release schedules, and environment strategy
• Automate validation, testing, PMD scans, and Checkmarx security scans
• Support Salesforce metadata deployments using SFDX CLI and deployment tools
• Implement branching strategies and governance standards across development teams
• Manage SSO certificate renewals and platform release readiness activities
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and administrators to ensure successful releases
• Monitor deployment health and continuously improve DevOps processes and automation

Skills Required
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce DevOps or release management experience
- Salesforce platform expertise, including metadata structure and deployment strategies
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and release automation with GitHub and Azure DevOps
- Git version control, branching strategies, pull request workflows, and repository management
- Experience with SFDX CLI, Salesforce APIs, deployment automation scripts, and release tooling
- Experience automating PMD code quality scans and Checkmarx application security scans
- Experience with SSO certificate renewal processes and Salesforce environment administration
- Agile/Scrum delivery, sprint planning, and release governance experience
- BE, BTech, ME, or MTech degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience coordinating releases across multiple development teams
- Ability to independently manage the end-to-end deployment and release lifecycle
- Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud knowledge
- Knowledge of Platform Events and Salesforce integration patterns
- Experience with Copado, Gearset, or other Salesforce DevOps tools
- Infrastructure automation and scripting using PowerShell or Python
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer certification
