Role summary
- The Salesforce Developer is responsible for supporting the evolution of the technology solution and processes that support the entire development and delivery of Construct products and services.
- The Salesforce Developer is a key technical role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that drive business efficiency and success.
- This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal utilisation of Salesforce technologies (Sales Cloud & Service Cloud). The Salesforce Developer will work closely with key internal stakeholders ensuring the platform supports business growth, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- This role will support the Head of Enabling Technology in providing thought leadership, and options and solutions formulation for the unit development and broader technology space.
Core skills and experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in CRM domain
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce implementations with sound knowledge on Salesforce Sales cloud, Service and Administration.
- Fluent in Apex Code such as triggers, classes, test methods; Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura components, Visualforce, SOQL,SOSL and other relevant technologies on the Salesforce platform
- Good level of experience with CI/CD
- Hands-on experience in integrating 3rd party systems such as oAuth and REST
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and meet project deadlines.
- Deliver ongoing Salesforce enhancements. Developing Salesforce functionality to enhance business use of the platform.
- Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I & Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
It would be beneficial to have:
- Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer II & Certified Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce DX: Familiarity with Salesforce Development Experience (DX) for source-driven development, version control, and automated deployments.
- Strong understanding of custom development best practices, governor limits, and security considerations within the Salesforce platform.
- Experience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce platform.
- Proficiency in optimising Salesforce configurations and code for performance, scalability, and data volume considerations.
