Responsibilities:
As a Salesforce Application Architect, you will play a key role in shaping, designing, and delivering enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions. You will provide both functional and technical expertise to ensure that applications are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
Lead the planning, analysis, definition, and delivery of future functional and technical capabilities for Salesforce applications.
Facilitate impact assessments and contribute to producing and reviewing accurate estimates for client work requests.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance to development teams and ensuring best practices are followed.
Manage and mentor team members, taking accountability for team decisions and outcomes.
Collaborate and engage with multiple teams, contributing to key architectural and strategic decisions across business and IT functions.
Provide innovative solutions to complex problems, both within the immediate team and across cross-functional teams.
Drive the development and implementation of strategies for application design and build enablement, ensuring technical excellence and sustainability.
Lead the team in establishing efficient configuration and release management processes, improving deployment reliability and efficiency.
Promote and enforce best practices for build management and release processes, including automation, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications:
5–10 years of experience in Salesforce solution design, application architecture, or technical leadership roles.
Expert proficiency in Design & Build Enablement – ability to conceptualize, design, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
Advanced proficiency in Configuration & Release Management – experience with release planning, environment management, and DevOps practices.
Advanced proficiency in Build Management – strong hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and build optimization.
Proven experience in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Flows).
Strong knowledge of integration architecture (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools).
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, influence architectural decisions, and drive accountability.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect (CTA) are highly desirable.
Experience with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Flosum, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) preferred.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
