Job Details
Under supervision, the Salesforce.com Analyst performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involves limited responsibility. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required. This key role will be involved in multiple projects / assignments, requires guidance in balancing priorities. This position offers both hybrid and remote / virtual settings.

  • Salesforce Administration:
    • Daily administration and support of the Salesforce database.
    • Troubleshoot and collaborate with the project team to ensure the application meets user needs.
    • Train new and existing users on Salesforce functionalities and best practices.
    • Maintain documentation and provide technical support to users.
    • Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and provide recommendations for process improvements.
    • Create and manage customized workflow rules, data validations, and reports.
    • Manage and create new automated features and flows on Salesforce communities.


  • (optional) Software Development:
    • Utilize modern tools and techniques to develop, modify, or update applications used by business units or infrastructure units.
    • Support development efforts and provide guidance on Lightning and Apex.
    • Participate in reviewing steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify software.
    • Aid in the deployment and documentation efforts for various Salesforce-related projects.
    • Determine unit needs and automate business processes through applications.


  • Business Analysis:
    • Gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide Salesforce solutions that drive business success.
    • Provide consultative recommendations to solve medium to large-scale business problems, both tactical and strategic.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience; experience with PC tools that are used in the workplace such as DOS, Windows, XP, NT, Microsoft Office Suite; application development (programming) and/or web-based (internet) experience preferred.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization.
  • At least one (1) year hands-on experience with the force.com platform preferred.
  • Salesforce.com Certification preferred.
  • Proven skills in creating or maintaining project documentation. Must be able to identify and strategically maintain prioritization of tasks.
  • Direct participation and experience with structured development methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply applications knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
  • Strong decision making and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships
  • Strong business process, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of data management.
