About the role:
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a deep understanding of Salesforce administration and is enthusiastic about using their skills to drive improvements across the organization in a fast-paced SaaS company.
- Maintain the system: Perform regular system monitoring, audits, upgrades, and maintenance tasks. Backup data, apply system updates, and enhance security measures as needed.
- Configure and customize: Configure and customize Salesforce to improve user experience and meet business requirements. This includes creating custom objects, fields, complex flows, page layouts, validation rules, alerts, profiles, permissions, sharing rules, reports and dashboards.
- Manage data: Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Salesforce system. Perform data imports, updates, and de-duplication. Maintain data quality standards and processes.
- Configure integrations and automations: Collaborate with business and technical teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications. Identify opportunities for automation and streamline processes using Salesforce features and tools.
- Enable reports and dashboards: Train and assist users in developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to provide key insights.
- Support and train users: Provide ongoing support and training to Salesforce users, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to effectively use the platform. Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on best practices.
- Deliver value: Work closely with stakeholders from across the organization to understand business and client needs, recommend solutions, implement new processes, and help user adoption.
- Manage knowledge: Document system configuration, processes, and user guidelines. Keep documentation up-to-date and accessible for users and stakeholders.
This role requires the ability to work East Coast hours.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, preferably with a concentration in finance, or related equivalent experience
- 5+ years Salesforce administration experience
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201) required
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM211) and additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.
- Experience with ERP, CPQ and budgeting tools are preferred
- Proficient with translating diverse business needs into technical requirements.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to develop effective working relationships across an organization.
- Experience working in a SaaS organization is preferred.
- Detailed-oriented and places a prominent level of importance on quality work.
- Comfortable learning, using, and explaining new technology to non-technical people.
- Ability to communicate with and appropriately influence people at various levels in the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Certification/Licenses:
• Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201) required
• Additional Salesforce certifications are a plus (Advanced Administrator ADM211, Platform App Builder CRT403, etc.)
