Harbor is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to ensure we are able to capitalize on the benefits offered by this innovative CRM system. As a part of Harbor’s Go to Market team, we will rely on you to work closely with project team members on the configuration, maintenance, and management of the system as needed. The Salesforce Administrator will work with stakeholders across Harbor’s Go to Market and Information Technology teams to define system requirements, customize the platform as needed for the company, and troubleshoot issues to enable day-to-day functionality and system performance.  This is a fully remote position that can be worked from anywhere in the United States or Canada.  
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage the overall health of Harbor’s SFDC environment, including administration, updates, fixes, and improvements. 
  • Liaise with business stakeholders regularly to solicit feedback, propose and validate key changes, and ensure SFDC functionality meets needs on an ongoing basis. 
  • Recommend system improvements to better achieve business objectives. 
  • Maintain and update SFDC environment. Establish, control, and maintain user access provisioning to the SFDC environment. Maintain integrations between multiple systems as needed. 
  • Create and maintain page layouts, workflow and validation rules, event triggers, email alerts, record types, and workflow processes, etc. Manage data standards and ETL processes. 
  • Maintain data quality by identifying, deleting or merging duplicate records, and assisting with best practices in cleansing and updating inaccurate data. 
  • Manage system tools, including monitoring and data integrity tools. 
  • Manage marketing automation suites.  
  • Monitor security and assignment/workflow rules. 
  • Implement changes based on end user requests; workflows, approval processes, validation rules, page layouts, and templates. 
  • Review/prepare for regular Salesforce releases and communicate/apply changes as necessary 
  • Develop new reports based on changing metrics and update reporting/success dashboards as needed. 
  • Liaise with IT and other business areas to ensure impact of any updates or changes to software/process is minimal 
  • Respond to support requests from users 
  • Build and update contractual templates as required 
  • Advise on SF best practices with regard to build and process 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Excellent understanding of Salesforce technologies, platforms, tools, apps, data management and functionality 
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator  
  • Hands on Salesforce configuration experience  
  • Experience collaborating with multiple teams to coordinate work and resolve system issues  
  • Comfortable interacting with people at various levels of the organization 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues as required 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain detail in both a technical and business friendly way 
  • Positive attitude with a focus on collaborative problem solving 
  • Ability to flex and adapt to the needs of a rapidly-changing business 
  • Detailed, organized, and results-oriented 
  • Excellent planning and negotiating skills 
  • Takes initiative and good level of self-confidence  
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure
