General Purpose:
Maintain account representative role for Star Breakdown Service (SBS) department in accordance with Star’s vision, mission and expectations. Perform necessary day-to-day coordination activities and functions for SBS department as defined within identified responsibilities below. Provide necessary support for Star Branches, vendors and customers that will assist with profitable growth and development of SBS. Participate as a “key” member of the Star Leasing Co. SBS program by assisting in promoting a work atmosphere where associates are excited to be part of a team that is focused on customer satisfaction and the profitable growth of SBS to the benefit of Star Leasing Co.
Corporate Responsibilities:
• - Understand and comply with Star’s Corporate Expectations and company policies in everything you do at Star.
• - Communicate, model and maintain compliance with Star’s corporate expectations and policies by incorporating those behaviors into all routine interactions with Star associates, customers and vendors.

Additionally, Star associates are expected to “lookout” for the safety of others and immediately communicate any safety related concerns to the appropriate person(s), regardless of position or rank.
• - Assist SBS Program Manager and SBS Program Administrator as instructed, helping to ensure SBS program is a productive and viable program within Star Leasing Co.
• - Insure physical appearance of designated workspace meet and or exceed Star Leasing Co. expectations as determined by SBS Program Manager.
• - Provide ideas and feedback on how to improve customer/vendor service to SBS Program Manager.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Reviews all work order requests to determine work priorities and coordinates the activities of SLC Branches and third party vendors.
- Prepares estimates for trailer repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Approves all repair and maintenance estimates above an assigned threshold prepared by SLC Branches and/or third party vendors.
- Responsible for maintaining SBS Customer satisfaction by completing the following:
Review event status for all assigned customers daily.
Ensure all follow-up communications are current and submitted timely to assigned customer.
Manage AR of assigned customers.
Provide account synopsis to customer at the customer’s requested frequency.
- Provides SLC Portal training for assigned SBS Customers.
- Reports weekly to SBS Management customer status and any follow-up that is needed.
- Responsible for assigned customer’s PM compliance.
- Responsible for the updating of all assigned customer’s profiles.
Administrative Responsibilities: (cont’d)
• - Communicate to customers, periodic incident updates throughout duration of OTR incident to ensure customers are aware of all incident details.
• - Utilize proper OTR incident tracking tools as provided by SBS Program Manager to properly track each incident and to assist in retrieval of invoices from vendors. Ensure all data on invoice is correct and provide vendor with purchase order number.
• - Handle conflicts professionally, properly, and report all conflicts to SBS Program Manager to ensure proper follow up is executed.

• - Good understanding of maintenance practices/procedures within our industry
