AFS Energy is looking for a driven sales professional, fluent in English, who is ready to hit the ground running in the fast-growing Voluntary Carbon Market. You will be building client relationships, closing deals, and contributing to one of the most impactful markets in renewable energy.

Based out of our Amsterdam office on the Stock Exchange floor, you will prospect new clients, develop trading strategies, and advise organizations on the right carbon solutions for their needs. With 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or business development, you know how to create opportunities and follow through until the deal is done.

The Role

This is a hands-on sales role with a clear focus on new business. Cold calling is a core part of the job, and you will be expected to convert prospects into long-term clients. If you thrive in a fast-moving market, enjoy the chase, and want to work on something that genuinely matters, this could be your next step.

  • Prospecting and cold calling to bring in new clients and expand your portfolio.

  • Managing and growing existing client relationships with a focus on high-potential markets.

  • Developing short and long-term trading strategies in line with company objectives.

  • Researching market trends, policy developments, and client industry dynamics to inform business decisions.

  • Creating analyses and presentations to keep clients informed on market developments and new projects.

  • Building your network through industry events, fairs, and congresses.

What We Are Looking For
  • 2 to 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, including cold calling and converting leads into clients.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a genuine plus.

  • Energetic, curious, and proactive: you do not wait for opportunities, you create them.

  • Able to adapt quickly to a market that is constantly evolving.

  • A natural negotiator who follows through until the deal is done.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of the Voluntary Carbon Market is a plus, but not a hard requirement.
