This position is about picking up the phone, building relationships, and closing deals day in and day out. The EAC desk at AFS Energy specializes in the trading and brokerage of Energy Attribute Certificates; the market standard for verifying renewable energy consumption. These certificates, which include Guarantees of Origin (GOs), RECs, REGOs, and I-RECs, allow companies to credibly document and report their use of renewable electricity in line with international sustainability frameworks.

• Call, call, and call - (cold) calling is 90% of the job.

• Build and maintain your own portfolio of clients.

• Keep yourself updated about regulatory/market changes.

• Talk to people all day, build relationships, pitch deals, and close.

• Close deals.

• Driving cross-selling opportunities: at AFS, we offer a range of renewable products that can be tailored to meet each client’s specific needs.

• Oversee the post-deal process, including client onboarding, contract completion, and ensuring accurate CRM updates.

• Keep grinding until the deal is done. Then start again.
