About the Role
Join us as Regional Sales Manager for Macmillan Education leading growth across Czech Republic and Slovakia in the field of English language teaching. You will own regional sales strategy, budgets, and results while developing a high-performing team and strong distributor partnerships. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution and direct engagement with key institutional clients. You will work with an exceptional team of specialists from two countries, bringing together collaboration, mutual support and best practice of an international organisation.
The position is offered on a permanent basis. It is fully remote with travelling.
Role responsibilities:
- Preparing sales plans and strategies aimed at achieving the highest possible sales in the region in a given year.
- Planning, organizing, motivating, and monitoring the work of the Sales Team.
- Conducting periodic performance evaluations of the Sales Team.
- Organizing and taking part in teacher training events, occasionally conducting presentations both for the clients and for the team.
- Building, developing, and maintaining cooperation with distributors in the region.
- Regular reporting on own activities and those of the team.
- Organizing and leading team meetings.
- Providing comprehensive feedback on the market situation in the assigned region,
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential
- Experience leading a team or managing people.
- Commercial mindset and solid planning skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
- English (C1 level) is a must.
- Driving license is needed (company car provided).
Desirable
- Knowledge of the regional education system (ELT) will be an asset
- Czech or Slovak language would be an asset.
