About You:
We are looking for a high-energy, proven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented sales professional to present our portfolio of fine wine, small batch spirits and craft beer to established off and on-premise accounts.
The candidate we seek:
- Has experience in beverage sales, preferably one year.
- Is a team player and is also highly organized and able to work independently.
- Has the desire to enthusiastically generate sales activity and close sales.
- Excellent customer service skills, values and establishes relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Actively pursues new business in on premise and off premise accounts.
- Valid DL and reliable automobile, cell phone, basic computer skills, access to daily emails.
The purpose of the Sales Support Specialist is an important link to the success of the entire Sales Department and growth of Elite Brands. The position is responsible for supporting the assigned sales team members to ensure the needs of our customers are met and route coverage as needed for assigned team members. This position is full time, 40 hours a week. Evening and weekend work is expected. Experience in the wine and beer industry is an advantage, we would be willing to train someone with proven beverage buying experience. Familiarity with local marketplace, companies and community in the region is preferred. The Sales Support Specialist requires sales presentations, phone follow-up, networking with referral sources, presentation of a positive image for our company, and extensive public contact.
Snapshot of duties:
In territory market support for account managers; stop into accounts to drop off samples, build displays, offer tastings; help with product placement/merchandising, ensure freshest product possible in the market verifying production dates, promote company portfolio, answer customer's questions regarding all aspects of products, contact new and existing customers to promote and highlight specific products and services to meet the customer's demographic.
About the Pay:
Base salary $45,000.00 to $48,000.00 per year to start + monthly bonus opportunities + $400 monthly car and phone allowance.
