FARO is looking for a Sales Support Specialist from our office in Lake Mary, Florida. This will be considered a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2- 3 days in the office weekly.

How you will make a difference @ FARO:  

  • Create and review Sales Orders requests for accuracy and completeness by following the Order Conversion Rules, ensuring that appropriate documentation is attached

  • Actively update Tasks in Salesforce so employees know status of every order

  • Submit customer’s Terms and Conditions for review via the Contracts Desk

  • Identify potential issues and escalate to the Senior Sales Support Specialists

  • Process quote requests for service plans, software, and accessories

  • Process vendor purchase orders from vendor portals

  • Create and process Requests for Credit, resolving issues so they can be approved as appropriate

  • Request inventory availability (from Demo Coordinator) for Certified Pre-Owned, Technology Test Drives, and Rental Equipment

  • Monitor and review sales email inboxes and respond or forward to the appropriate persons and/or teams

  • Identify possible data integrity issues and correct or open a ticket with the Data Integrity Task Force as appropriate

  • Attend meetings as required and strategize with other Sales teams and departments to ensure quarterly goals are met

  • Other duties and functions as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is required but an Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred

  • Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office (SAP, Salesforce & CPQ are a plus)
  • Excellent motivational skills and works will with a team but also able to work alone
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques
  • Ability to interpret sales metrics and perform data entry
  • Ability to pay strong attention to detail
