The Sales Support Associate will provide essential support to our sales team, ensuring smooth sales operations and superior customer satisfaction. This role involves administrative and clerical tasks, including processing sales orders, responding to client inquiries, and maintaining accurate CRM data. The Sales Support Associate is crucial to the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team but does not engage in direct selling.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Order Processing: Handle clerical tasks such as processing sales orders promptly and accurately.
- CRM Management: Support Account Executives with CRM data entry, workflow management, and task follow-ups with clients, vendors, and other departments.
- Quotation Coordination: Prepare and coordinate quotations, collect supporting documentation, and ensure precise configurations and pricing.
- Order Management: Process regular and rush orders, review pending orders and customer requests to ensure client satisfaction.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain the CRM database to ensure accurate records and up-to-date order statuses.
- Client Communication: Provide order status updates and follow through on orders until the client has received their product. This includes tracking orders, communicating with internal teams, and documenting status updates.
- Expedition Coordination: Coordinate and expedite shipment dates to meet critical customer deadlines.
- Administrative Support: Assist the sales team with various administrative duties to ensure smooth operations.
- Customer Service: Answer telephone calls and return calls promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
- Experience in a professional setting or office strongly desired.
- Experience in client interaction or customer service strongly desired.
- Strong phone presence and effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex processes.
- Comfortable with making outbound and receiving inbound calls from customers and prospects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, manipulate, and interpret spreadsheets accurately.
- Well-organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced numerical aptitude.
Compensation:
- $22.50-$24 per hour
- Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and performance.
