As a Sales Senior Manager – Technical Sales, you will lead the global commercial growth strategy for the Cordant Solutions Sensing & Protection (S&P) portfolio across oil and gas and industrial markets. You will work closely with Commercial, Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Technology teams to develop and execute growth strategies that expand market presence, strengthen customer engagement, and support long‑term business objectives.
This role requires a blend of commercial leadership, market insight, technical understanding, and strategic planning to enable sustainable growth across regions and market segments.
As a Sales Senior Manager – Technical Sales, you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with Cordant Solutions functions to conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive assessments to identify growth opportunities.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy for the Sensing & Protection portfolio across regions and industry segments.
- Creating value propositions and commercial approaches that address customer needs while supporting business growth objectives.
- Supporting market share expansion and optimization of the installed customer base through targeted commercial initiatives.
- Collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Technology teams to ensure alignment between commercial strategies and business priorities.
- Monitoring commercial performance and identifying opportunities to enhance effectiveness and business outcomes. Providing visibility into commercial forecasts, opportunities, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Supporting sales teams with commercial guidance and win strategies for strategic opportunities. Leading the development and deployment of customer engagement programs and commercial campaigns.
- Supporting the adoption of new commercial models and solutions tailored to customer requirements. Driving data‑driven decision‑making through analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and commercial performance.
- Contributing to long‑range planning activities and growth roadmaps for the Cordant Solutions portfolio. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support successful strategy execution.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Bring major experience in Sales, Commercial Management, or Business Development. Demonstrate experience applying value‑based selling methodologies.
- Possess strong commercial acumen supported by a data‑driven and analytical approach.
- Have experience conducting market analysis, evaluating growth opportunities, and developing commercial strategies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of asset protection and condition monitoring technologies. Have experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.
- Bring experience across both customer‑facing sales and proposal development environments.
- Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Have proven ability to lead complex initiatives and drive successful outcomes within matrix organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- In‑depth knowledge of Cordant Solutions Sensing & Protection technologies, including Bently Nevada and Cordant solutions.
- Experience with Orbit solutions or related technologies.
- Experience creating and deploying global commercial playbooks and growth strategies.
- Experience leading organizational transformation or commercial excellence initiatives.
- Strong understanding of industrial and energy sector market dynamics.
