Job Responsibilities
- Lead distribution of public Australian ABS transactions — including investor targeting, marketing, feedback collection, and coordination with Trading/Syndicate through pricing, allocations input, and post-pricing follow-up.
- Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and offshore ABS investors to broaden distribution and deepen engagement across key accounts.
- Provide client coverage and BAU sales execution support across asset-backed lending and CRE lending solutions (including CRE LoL and CRE direct lending), partnering closely with Origination and broader SPG stakeholders to articulate structure/terms and drive timely execution, and coordinating internal workstreams with Credit/Risk, Legal, and other control partners.
- Coordinate Australian ABS distribution globally (including into Europe) by partnering with regional SPG Sales teams to maximize placement, diversify the investor base, and ensure consistent messaging.
- Support the Origination team by ensuring issuer clients receive a holistic view of the investor landscape, including global investor appetite, themes, and relevant market technicals to inform execution strategy.
- Contribute to franchise growth through account planning, coverage prioritization, and market development initiatives, operating in line with applicable regulations and JPMorganChase policies and standards.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Relevant experience in Markets Sales, securitized products, commercial real estate, syndicate, DCM, or closely related markets roles, with demonstrable transaction execution responsibility.
- Strong technical credibility in either (i) Australian ABS / securitized products or (ii) CRE lending (ideally both).
- Ability to operate independently day-to-day in a relatively standalone local seat, while being a strong internal/external networker to bring the broader JPMorganChase platform to bear (Origination, Trading/Syndicate, Credit/Risk, Legal, and global SPG Sales).
- Proven ability to manage senior client relationships and influence outcomes across multiple internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 5+ years of directly relevant experience.
- Direct experience in Australian ABS or CRE (e.g., RMBS, auto, consumer, SME, CRE) and/or cross-border distribution experience, including into Europe.
- Familiarity with asset-backed lending and commercial real estate lending solutions, including LoL and direct lending.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with origination teams to shape deal strategy and issuer messaging based on investor feedback and market conditions.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter with strong sales skills and willingness to engage proactively with clients.
