What You’ll Do
- Build business: Find new customers, grow existing accounts and meet sales targets.
- Work your territory: Plan productive routes and service at least 15 customers daily.
- Close and follow through: Submit accurate orders, coordinate timely deliveries and resolve customer concerns.
- Manage collections: Collect payments and submit accurate records and supporting documents daily.
- Stay ahead: Learn the products, track competitor activity and share market insights.
- Take ownership: Keep sales reports current and care for your assigned vehicle, phone and equipment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience serving trade customers.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and products.
- Familiarity with businesses in your preferred territory, including parts outlets, service stations, garages and service centres.
- A valid driver’s permit and 5+ years of driving experience.
- The confidence to negotiate, the discipline to follow up and the drive to achieve targets.
- Strong organisation, reporting and cash-handling skills.
- Availability to work Monday-Friday and travel within your territory.
