Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our Sales team in the Mumbai region. The primary objective of this role is to design and execute a strategic sales plan, aligned with the company’s goals, while driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Take ownership of generating new business and expanding market share for Injection Molding Machines. Achieve and exceed Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets while optimizing profitability by reducing discounts.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and technological advancements. Identify emerging markets and seize opportunities to penetrate new and non-traditional segments.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customers. Regularly visit clients to ensure satisfaction, convert prospects into loyal customers, revive dormant accounts, and win over competitors' customers.
- Consultative Selling: Understand customer requirements in-depth and provide tailored solutions by selecting the right machine sizes and configurations.
- Sales Execution: Manage the entire sales process, including the timely submission of quotations, follow-ups, and closing deals. Oversee the order submission process for large machines and ensure seamless execution.
- Project Management: Coordinate the timely delivery and installation of machines, ensuring customer satisfaction while managing the collection of outstanding payments.
Team:
You will be an integral part of our high-performing Sales team in Mumbai, working collaboratively to drive success and exceed sales targets.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical).
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in capital equipment sales, particularly in the injection molding machine sector.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree: MBA in Sales & Marketing is highly desirable.
