Role Purpose:

As the Account Manager for Belgium, you will serve as the primary commercial point of contact for Varian's radiotherapy portfolio. You will maintain long-term relationships with existing oncology centers, identify new business opportunities, and support the day-to-day adoption of advanced radiotherapy products and digital software solutions across Belgian healthcare institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain Client Relationships: Establish and nurture strong, trusted networks with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and hospital procurement teams.
Deliver Sales Targets: Execute day-to-day commercial activities to meet quarterly and annual sales volumes across the territory.
Manage Tenders: Lead the operational response for hospital public tenders, ensuring all technical and commercial documentation is accurate.
Support Solution Delivery: Coordinate complex capital equipment and oncology software sales cycles from lead generation to installation.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Align with local Siemens Healthineers clinical specialists, application teams, and service engineers to ensure client satisfaction.
CRM Management: Regularly update sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and provide accurate sales forecasts.

Role Requirements:

Education and Language Skills:

Flemish (Dutch) Fluency: A strict pre-requisite. Native or professional bilingual proficiency is mandatory to manage stakeholders in Flanders and Brussels.
Multilingualism: Strong professional proficiency in English and French is highly desirable to cover the full Belgian territory.
Education: University degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, Medicine, or a related scientific/commercial field.

Professional Experience:

Radiotherapy Expertise: 5+ years of experience in sales within the radiotherapy or radiation oncology industry is highly desirable.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in medical capital equipment sales and navigating public hospital tender processes in Belgium.
Network: Existing operational contacts within Belgian oncology clinics and university hospitals is a strong asset.
