Position Overview
The Sales Representative – Neuromodulation will coordinate LivaNova’s commercial strategy and contribute to the success of the business within the assigned region(s). This role requires a strong strategic mindset to drive growth in the Neuromodulation (NM) business, combining high-level clinical knowledge with advanced consultative selling skills.
The professional will be responsible for delivering excellent sales and service to healthcare providers, building strong relationships with physicians and healthcare stakeholders, including payers, and achieving sales targets in both units and revenue. This role also involves continuous market evaluation, identification of opportunities, and recommendation of effective strategies to maximize business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an in-depth technical understanding of LivaNova Neuromodulation products, enabling effective clinical discussions, product demonstrations, and in-theatre support.
Build strong relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders, including insurance providers and healthcare payers.
Execute a high-level clinical sales approach, effectively communicating the value of therapies such as Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS).
Apply value-based selling strategies, demonstrating the economic and clinical benefits of medical devices compared to alternative treatments (e.g., long-term medication or hospitalization).
Formulate and implement a Territory Business Plan aligned with divisional objectives.
Achieve defined sales targets (units, revenue, and pricing) and KPIs.
Continuously evaluate market conditions, trends, and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Deliver training to customers and ensure ongoing education regarding product use.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems (Salesforce).
Ensure all activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Represent the company through regular customer visits, conferences, and industry events.
Manage consignment inventory according to company guidelines.
Prepare and submit timely reports, including sales forecasts, expenses, and account updates.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
Proven track record in strategic and consultative sales.
Experience working with healthcare payers or insurance systems, (EPS or similar organizations) is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus.
Fluent English is required.
Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 75%), including domestic and occasional international travel.
