This position will be based in Johannesburg (North territory), South Africa under the Obesity Business Unit. You will directly report to the Field Sales Manager.
The Position
As a Sales Representative for Obesity at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers in the Obesity field.
Your main accountabilities will be:

  • Promote and sell our obesity products to healthcare providers, ensuring they have the information and resources they need to make informed decisions
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in the obesity field and provide feedback to internal teams to support product improvement and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and initiatives


Qualifications
As a Sales Representative in Obesity, you need to be a registered dietitian or have a dietician degree but not compulsory. You can also have a Bachelor's degree in Life Science or any other relevant field.
To be successful in this role:

  • Strong knowledge of the obesity market, including key competitors and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapid and establish trust with healthcare professionals
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • You have a pro-active approach and innovative way of working
  • Ability to work independently and manage territory effectively
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
  • Fluency in English
