Preferred location is Virginia but are open to other states on a case by case basis.
Develop new business opportunities and support existing customers.
Build long‑term relationships through on‑site visits, demonstrations, and briefings.
Promote EST’s products and services by assessing customer applications and equipment needs.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver accurate, competitive proposals.
Manage pipeline activity in CRM (Zoho) and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager.
Travel locally, with occasional overnight trips in the U.S.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years successful direct sales experience, preferably in industrial or government sales
- applications.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college preferred.
- In lieu of degree, five years or more of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of
- education and experience preferred.
- Proven ability to exceed quotas and manage the entire sales life cycle from lead generation to close.
- Proven capability/knowledge of principles and methods of promoting, selling, and demonstrating
- products and/or services resulting in increased profitable sales.
- Strong knowledge and background in mechanical, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems a plus.
- Familiar with mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Basic ability, acumen and knowledge to troubleshoot equipment.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Understanding of the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, self-motivated, results-driven, self-starter, sense of
urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized and dependable. - Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft office applications.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S required.
- Driver’s license and excellent driving record required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport, Military base passes and other access credentials.
Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer.
Travel by commercial aircraft.
Routinely lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Work outdoors under varying environmental conditions, with some exposure to hazardous materials and equipment.
Safely maneuver around vehicles, machinery, and moving objects.
Use ladders rated up to 300 lbs.
