Your missionPRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for executing the Company strategies in the assigned point of sales. He/She will drive the negotiation with customers and POS in line with company selling standards, so as to ultimately deliver the sales targets (Sell in, Sell out and Market Share). Furthermore, he/she shall nurture and develop customer relationships, implementing POS activities, as and when required according to communicated operational directions. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, result oriented mindset, strong work ethic, and the ability to understand and meet customer needs in a fast paced and competitive environment.
OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
- Present, negotiate and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
- Study the needs of the customer and the advantages of the products using the elements of the commercial policy, knowing the compositions of the products and highlighting the company's services.
- Promote and advise pharmacy customers, based on the advantages of our products, with the aim of achieving sales growth targets, implementing actions aimed at boosting sales (merchandise, trade-marketing activities, training, samples, trade management advice, etc.) and highlighting the brand's service offerings.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Execute impactful activities in store that successfully meet customer’s needs and deliver the sales target. Focuses on planograms and supplementary POS activities for key priority brands aiming for sell-in and sell-out growth.
- Organize and schedule own activities according to the targeting/frequency set by management to ensure consistent monitoring of the sector by collaborating with various networks and brand support services, thus contributing to the development of the sector.
- Order taking, handle any discrepancies, ensure follow-up with customers, monitor stock, ensure daily customer tracking, and share information with Manager regarding the market and competition.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
- Analyze market potential, track sales, and provide status reports.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Manage the available resources within the framework of the established sales policy and enforce commercial agreements.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Represent the Group at industry events.
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar jobs in Cosmetic, Pharmacy or FMCG environment with solid track record of success (including delivering on targets). Previous working experience as a Sales Representative is preferred,
- Educated to degree standard: higher education, preferably university degree
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Good knowledge of English language
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Strong ability to manage ambiguity, constructive management of objections from a technical point of view as well as at a more emotional level (i.e. managing customer frustration)
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
