Let’s take a closer look at the role of a Sales Rep to determine if this opportunity is right for you!
As a Sales Representative, you will be challenged to execute and complete all tasks related to increasing current volume of sales, servicing the needs of existing accounts, documenting the closing and/or opening of accounts within sales territory’s footprint, and building relationships and rapport with customers to best represent our brands and Company.
Territory location:
- Hopewell Township, Ambridge, McKees Rocks, western suburbs to North Side of Pittsburgh
Here's more of what you will do:
- Achieve established monthly distribution, display, and volume goals by brand and package.
- Solicit business by personally visiting clients, attempting to make new placements and explaining the quality of the product.
- Familiarize established accounts with new products and developments.
- Maintain parity in category distribution and pricing.
- Communicate price changes, effective dates and service obligations.
- Cultivate and maintain rapport with owners and decision makers in given account base.
- Ensure quality audits in all accounts are in compliance with supplier standards. This includes moving close coded product to an account that can sell it prior to reaching the expiration date.
- Maintain call frequency as established for territory for on-premise accounts.
- Assure accuracy of route books.
- Complete daily call sheets and submit to assigned sales manager on a weekly basis.
- Perform all duties related to setting up, attending and regulating night and weekend bar promotions as well as all other special events per established standards.
- Identify and control out of stock conditions.
- Execute all in house and brewery funded support programs.
- Meet established level of execution for all company and supplier incentives.

Qualifications
Here's what you must have to be considered for this role:
- Must live in close proximity to the listed territory
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Able to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before customers and employees.
- Ability to calculate in various units of measure using whole numbers, percentages, etc.
- Must have a valid Class C driver's license with a driving record that meets the Company's standards and company vehicle insurance requirements.
- Requires drug screen and criminal background check.

Physical Requirements:
- Required to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 100 to 200 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to drive during shift to various accounts.
Potential candidates are required to successfully complete a medical evaluation including a physical evaluation designed to test ability to perform basic physical job requirements.
