Position Summary:
Rotex is looking for an Industrial Sales Project Engineer to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. As a Sales Project Engineer, you will be responsible for selling industrial processing equipment in assigned global territories and market segments, analyzing market conditions, and promoting all product lines to meet goals and expectations as defined in sales plans.
Work You’ll Do:

Sell equipment in assigned territories and market segments globally, analyze customer needs, and select suitable equipment based on research and laboratory testing

Develop and implement action plans to protect/build market share, assist in sales forecasting, and support the Sales Manager in the development and maintenance of marketing plans

Assist the Aftermarket Sales Department in promoting and selling aftermarket parts and manage the order entry and shipment of machine orders

Arrange domestic/international travel to support selling and marketing activities, and assist customers and sales representatives in resolving field application problems

Participate in continuous improvement activities, develop action plans for the Company’s Business Plan, and assist in training and evaluation of sales representatives

Prepare budget recommendations and adhere to authorized budgets
Team:
The Sales Project Engineer will join a team of 12 associates dedicated to promoting and selling Rotex equipment in North America.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with a focus in an engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience

2+ years of industrial sales experience

Working knowledge of ERP software
-
Ability to travel within North America 25-50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong mechanical knowledge
-
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Great Plains ERP
