ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers operate the largest single-sport attendance draw in Manitoba — 32,000 fans per game, and a corporate partnership portfolio spanning game day, digital, and community assets year-round.

We're adding a Sales & Partnership Activation Coordinator to the team that sells and delivers those partnerships. This is a role at the center of every deal — from first proposal to final recap — supporting both the Corporate Sales and Partnership Activation functions of the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Sales Administration

  • Support the Corporate Sales and Partnership teams with day-to-day administration across the full sales cycle
  • Assist with preparation of sponsorship proposals, presentations, contracts, and end-of-season recap reports
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and internal databases
  • Coordinate invoicing, contract tracking, ticketing fulfillment, and renewal schedules
  • Support lead generation, prospect research, and sales reporting on inventory and activity
  • Schedule meetings and manage internal communications across departments

Partnership Activation

  • Coordinate execution of sponsorship assets across game days, digital platforms, community events, and stadium activations
  • Manage partner fulfillment to ensure all contractual obligations are delivered accurately and on time
  • Liaise with internal departments including marketing, game operations, content, ticketing, and community relations
  • Coordinate signage, hospitality, promotional elements, contests, and in-stadium partner experiences
  • Organize partner events, appearances, and community initiatives
  • Prepare post-event and end-of-season partnership recap materials

Game Day & Events

  • Support corporate partner activations at all Winnipeg Blue Bombers home games — this role is present and operational on game days
  • Assist with hospitality coordination and partner servicing throughout each game
  • Ensure all sponsor assets and branding elements are executed on time, on spec, and on brand
  • Troubleshoot and respond quickly to operational needs in a live event environment

General

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with corporate partners and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to a collaborative, fast-moving team environment
  • Support special projects and departmental initiatives as required

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven — you don't let things fall through the cracks
  • A strong communicator who can represent the organization professionally with corporate partners
  • A self-starter who identifies what needs to get done without waiting to be told
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, event-driven environment where priorities shift and game day is non-negotiable
  • Energized by sports, live events, and the idea of building something the whole city watches

WHAT YOU BRING

Must Haves

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Sport Management, Communications, or a related field with 1–3 years of experience in sales administration, sponsorship, marketing, events, or sports business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — Excel, PowerPoint, and Word along with experience with CRM platforms.  Archtics or Ticketmaster proficiency is an asset.
  • Availability to work all 10+ Winnipeg Blue Bombers home games (including potential playoff dates), select WFC events, and standard business hours Monday through Friday. This role operates in a live sports environment — game days are the job.
